Access to Capital: A Catalyst for Economic Reconciliation

This video is part of a research project on the contribution of the Indigenous economy to Quebec’s economy. It marks the launch of a documentary series exploring key issues such as access to capital, Nunavik’s energy autonomy, collaboration between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities, and Indigenous women’s leadership.

This first episode provides an overview of the state of capital access for Indigenous populations in Quebec, highlighting the challenges, potential solutions, and its essential role in economic reconciliation.

Presented as part of the Indigenous Connections Summit on Economic Reconciliation, organized by the Ashukan Institute on March 12, 2025, this video was made possible thanks to the support of several committed partners.
